Seed Saving

Nelson Seed Library recommends that when getting started with seed saving you try to save seeds from easy plants first. The following plants are all fairly easy to save seeds from because the seeds will grow plants that are the same as their parents.
  • Peas
  • Beans
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes (a little bit harder as you need to use a fermentation process to save the seed)
